HRH tax principal named CPA of the Year

John W. Lindbloom, MST, CPA/PFS, principal with St. Louis-based Huber, Ring, Helm & Co., P.C. was recently honored as CPA of the Year by the St. Louis Chapter of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). An active member of the St. Louis chapter, Lindbloom formerly served as President, Secretary/Treasurer, President-elect, and Tax Committee Chair for the local chapter and recently completed two years as Chair of the MSCPA Tax Committee.

"John continually gives his time to others in the accounting field through mentoring and volunteer positions with the local and state chapters of the MSCPA," states Thomas S. Helm, CPA, President and CEO of HRH. "We applaud the chapter for recognizing John for his leadership as the Past President of the chapter, as well as his ongoing contributions to the accounting profession and the St. Louis community."

Lindbloom specializes in taxation, planning, and business consulting for individuals, closely held businesses, limited liability companies, partnerships, and exempt organizations. He has over 28 years of experience in certified public accounting and has earned the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a frequent contributor to professional publications and holds a Master of Science in Taxation from DePaul University. Lindbloom is chairman of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants Taxation Committee and also a member of both the Illinois CPA Society and the AICPA. Lindbloom is actively involved with several nonprofit agencies. He is currently treasurer for two organizations: Family Support Network, a not-for-profit child abuse prevention agency, and Boy Scout Troop 782 in Ellisville, MO.
