Gilman Ciocia acquires Hoffman, Levy, Bengio

Gilman Ciocia announced this week that it has acquired Hoffman, Levy, Bengio & Co., PL., formerly located in Hollywood, Florida.

As part of the transaction, the firm has relocated its operations into Gilman Ciocia's office in Aventura, Florida. Financial details were not disclosed.

KGC Associates CPAs PC acquired the attest business of Hoffman, Levy, Bengio, as part of the transaction. KGC Associates is a CPA firm licensed in New York and Florida that is associated with Gilman Ciocia under an alternative practice structure.

"This new alliance will benefit and bring value to the client base of both companies through our mutual knowledge and expertise in accounting, tax planning, and financial planning."
 
For the year ended December 31, Hoffman, Levy, Bengio had revenues of approximately $1.5 million, and served more than 2,500 individual and corporate clients.

Bengio's partner, Steve Levy, added that "this relationship will allow us to bring a multitude of new services and resources to our clients, while maintaining the strong culture of personalized service our clients have come to expect from our firm."
