Georgia CPA firm promotes Evan Bohannon

The Atlanta office of public accounting firm Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC, one of the Southeast's 'Top Four' accounting and business consulting firms and a top 40 firm nationally, has announced the promotion of Evan Bohannon to audit senior at the firm.

In his new role, Bohannon will work on CRI's growing audit practice, serving both private and publicly traded companies. His experience includes audits of not-for-profit organizations, community banks and closely-held businesses, and conducting employee benefit plan audits.

A native of Camden, Alabama, Bohannon is a graduate of Auburn University (Montgomery) where he earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. He joined Carr, Riggs & Ingram-Atlanta in 2007 after spending two years with a Montgomery, Alabama-based firm. Prior to that, he held cost accounting responsibilities with a major automotive manufacturer.

Mr. Bohannon is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs and is pursuing his CPA designation in the state of Georgia.

Carr, Riggs & Ingram (CRI) is ranked 35th in Public Accounting Report's (PAR) top 100 firms in the nation and 4th in the Southeast region. Today, CRI employs nearly 500 professionals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi.
