Georgia CPA firm names new partner

Atlanta, Georgia-based public accounting firm Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC, one of the Southeast's 'Top Four' accounting and business consulting firms and a top 40 firm nationally, is pleased to announce that Matt Gunning has been admitted as an equity partner with the firm.

Matt joined CRI in 1992, and has 16 years of experience in public accounting. He is responsible for assurance services for middle-market clients in the manufacturing, distribution, and construction industries, as well as audits of employee benefit plans and non-profit organizations. Matt is a member of CRI's quality control committee, and a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the Georgia Society of Association Executives.

Matt holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and currently serves as a member of the Advisory Council for the School of Accountancy at Georgia State University. He is a native of Atlanta and is married with two daughters.
