Former AmEx Exec Joins 1st Global
Tony Cord, formerly Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions for American Express Tax & Business Services, Inc., has joined 1st Global as Director of National Business Development.
Mr. Cord was a key player in the accounting firm consolidation efforts of American Express over the past few years.
1st Global, Inc., is a development partner for leading CPA and tax firms seeking to successfully integrate a comprehensive financial services business into their accounting practice. As Director of National Business Development for 1st Global, Mr. Cord will build key relationships, lead and support the growth of 1st Global's commitment to the largest CPA firms, and assist in shaping 1st Global's business strategy and tactics.

Which isn’t completely true. I mean, occasionally I drop by when I manage to sneak out of the nonstop frat party over at Going Concern, but I’m mostly a wallflower over there.
