Emphasis on Customer Service: Crowe Chizek, PKF Texas and Microsoft

The customer comes first. In an effort to achieve this standard, accounting firms Crowe Chizek and Company LLC and Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas P.C. (PKF Texas) are both working with Microsoft but in very different ways.

For the second consecutive year, Crowe Chizek has been named to the Microsoft Business Solutions President’s Club.

“Crowe is honored to be recognized for our strong relationships with both Microsoft Business Solutions and our clients,” Crowe chief executive officer (CEO) Mark Hildebrand said in a statement announcing the distinction. “The firm is dedicated to meeting the enterprise solution needs of our customers, and we are pleased to do so in collaboration with Microsoft Business Solutions.”

The President’s Club distinction is given to reselling organizations demonstrating strong commitment to customer satisfaction and high levels of sales achievement of Microsoft Business Solutions software. The Microsoft Business Solutions software that Crowe offers to its clients includes Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

“Microsoft congratulates Crowe Chizek on achieving President’s Club status,” said Microsoft Corporate Vice President Craig McCollum. “Crowe Chizek truly understands how important customers are to Microsoft and has gone out of their way to make customer’s experience a positive one.”

Taking another approach, PKF Texas hosted the Houston Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Navision) User Group executive committee meeting on August 22. Among the topics discussed were Jet Reports training, business ready issues and requirements to achieve Microsoft Certified Gold Partner status.

The Houston Dynamics NAV Users Group was established as a network for Houston Dynamics NAV users to discuss issues such as training, product add-ons, new features and best practices. Those attending the Steering Committee meeting included: Gregory Price, Director of Consulting Solutions, PKF Texas; Roger Oliver, Navision Developer, VeriCenter, Inc.; Ray Boone, Project Manager, Texas Medical Center; and Robert Wolfram, CFO Pileco, Inc. The next meeting is scheduled for November.

Microsoft’s Dynamics NAV is a complete and customizable business management solution which integrates financial, manufacturing, distribution, customer relationship management, and e-commerce data. Dynamics NAV is ideal for companies with unique business processes and specialized needs.

Voice of the Editor

Even though any accounting auditor would tell you it seems like there are an awful lot of tax accountants out there, surely one-third of the country isn't made up of tax preparers, so it's rather startling news to learn that one-third of Americans like to do their taxes. Who knew?
