Eastern Seaboard Firm Mergers

Beard Miller Company LLP (bmc), a nationally ranked US Top 50 regional accounting and consulting firm, announce mergers with two firms - Fagliarone Group CPAs P.C. (TFG CPAs), and Dennis M. Spinelli CPA LLC, effective January 1, 2007. The combined firm will operate under the name Beard Miller Company (bmc).

bmc serves middle market and small business companies throughout the Mid Atlantic region, including New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia and Delaware. "These combinations are an excellent opportunity to combine our strengths to meet the growing needs of middle-market and small business companies in New Jersey and central New York. By strategically expanding our geographic footprint, we will be able to deliver more resources to serve the needs of these comp anies," commented Lamar Stoltzfus, bmc Chairman. "We are pleased that the firms' complementary services and established client base will be joining bmc, and we welcome the multi-talented partners and staff from both organizations to our firm."

Dennis Spinelli CPA is located in Jackson, NJ and provides tax services to primarily banking clients, as well as other individual and small business clients. TFG CPAs is a member of the BDO Seidman Alliance with three offices in New York located in Syracuse, Auburn and New Hartford. TFG CPAs provides comprehensive audit, accounting, tax, and consulting services to large and small companies in a number of industries, including financial services, education, manufacturing and distribution, health care, construction, and not-for-profit.

These combinations will add a total of 13 partners and 48 staff to the bmc roster, expanding the bmc professional team to 73 partners and a total of 490 partners and employees. The firm's geographic footprint now includes 14 offices in 4 states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

While the combined firms will change their name to bmc, clients will still be working with the same people that they have come to know and trust through the years. "By combining with both Dennis Spinelli and TFG CPAs, we are positioning bmc to strengthen our presence in New Jersey and New York by offering an expansive range of services delivered with personalized attention," noted Stoltzfus.
