Furness & Associates Accountancy Corporation has recently launched a new Web site. The Web site includes video testimonials, a detailed explanation of available services, and free resources that can aid individuals and businesses in tax preparation.
 
Gettry Marcus Stern & Lehrer, CPA, P.C. (GMSL) recently announced that Jed P. Dallek, CPA, MST, has joined the firm as a tax partner. Dallek has more than 20 years of tax experience in the real estate and financial services industries.
 
Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP (HCVT) has relocated its Santa Monica headquarters and West Los Angeles office to the Teleflora Plaza located at 11444 West Olympic Blvd. in West Los Angeles. HCVT will occupy the 11th floor penthouse and a portion of the 5th floor. The total space occupied will be approximately 33,000 square feet.
 
Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC (LBMC) has added Mark D. Johnson to its information technology department in the Brentwood (Nashville) office. Johnson, previously editor in chief for Lifeway Christian Resources, will join the information technology department as a help desk specialist.
 
Lawhorn CPA Group, Inc. announced the launch of its new business model and brand. Formerly Lawhorn & Associates, PLLC, the firm recently incorporated and refined its business model to support nationwide expansion through subsidiary dual-ownership firms. Change in strategic direction sparked a complete overhaul of the firm’s brand, including a new logo.
 
Moore Colson recently announced the hiring of a business assurance professional and three interns. Kelly Bird is a business assurance senior associate, and Bevan Hopper, Meg King, and Jenna Kelley are business assurance interns.
 
ParenteBeard CEO Bob Ciaruffoli this week announced that partner Louis H. Feuerstein will lead the firm’s health care practice. Feuerstein served as a senior advisory partner with a Big Four accounting firm in its health care audit and consulting practice, as well as directing that firm’s corporate compliance and HIPPA privacy practices on a national basis. Feuerstein is responsible for developing the health care practice across all six regions of ParenteBeard.
