Cherry Bekaert & Holland Expands in South Carolina
Cherry, Bekaert & Holland L.L.P., the largest regional accounting and consulting firm headquartered in the southeast United States, has announced the addition of Lewellyn & Company, Ltd. to its regional practice group.
Lewellyn & Company, located at 5350 Woodside Executive Court in Aiken, South Carolina, will become part of CB&H's Augusta, Georgia practice unit while maintaining its present staff and office location in Aiken, South Carolina.
"We have been seeking a synergistic growth partner in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) market," commented Howard J. Kies, CPA, firm managing partner with CB&H. "The merger with Lewellyn & Company provides significant growth opportunities for this practice unit and continues to solidify our position as the leading accounting and consulting firm in the region."
Lewellyn & Company currently serves over 3,000 clients with a strong practice concentration in income tax planning and preparation for businesses and high-income individuals. Ronald D. Lewellyn, CPA, CFP, will join CB&H as a partner. Stephen D. Farmer, CPA, partner in charge of the Augusta practice unit notes, "this combination strategically expands the presence of CB&H in the CSRA market and allows Lewellyn's client base to tap into CB&H's extensive network of regional accounting and consulting resources."
