Centerprise Appoints Michael Berent COO

Centerprise Advisors, Inc., the nation's 16th largest professional services firm, has added Michael Berent to its senior management team as the firm's Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer - Professional Services.

As COO, Mr. Berent will be responsible for leading and managing the strategic development, integration and operating performance of Centerprise. Centerprise offers accounting, litigation support and business planning services to middle market companies. Headquartered in Chicago, Centerprise has 22 offices in the US and affiliates in more than 40 major business centers throughout the world.

"Mike brings a wealth of experience to Centerprise and a track record for delivering results," said Bob Basten, Chief Executive Officer of Centerprise. "Mike recognizes the power of focusing on the middle market. He is a proven leader who understands our potential and has the skill set to help us capitalize on it."

Mr. Berent's business career, which spans almost 30 years, includes experience in integrating and building companies, developing and managing teams, driving growth through national and international service practices and delivering superior operating results. Prior to joining Centerprise, Mr. Berent served as Executive Vice President of Global Industry Services at marchFIRST, formerly Whittman-Hart. Prior to the merger, Mr. Berent oversaw Whittman-Hart's growth from $179 million to well over $400 million of revenue as the company's Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Berent also spent eight years at Ernst Young as Managing Partner - Manufacturing Industry Practice. Berent's experience also includes Cullinet Software, GTE Service Corporation and National Can Corporation.
