California CPA firm adds new director of marketing
Haskell & White LLP, one of Southern California's largest independently owned accounting, auditing, and tax consulting firms with offices in Orange County and San Diego, has announced the addition of Meagan Hayes as director of marketing.
"Meagan's extensive background in working with financial institutions and her experience in development and executing successful marketing programs for these companies make her an invaluable addition to the Haskell & White team," said Wayne Pinnell, managing partner at Haskell & White. "Her keen business sense in defining target markets and managing marketing resources will help us implement strategies to further grow our offerings and services."
In her role as director of marketing, Hayes is responsible for developing and implementing the firm's annual marketing plan and strategic programs to promote new services or initiatives to current and prospective clients. In addition, she will oversee the firm's request for proposal process to support new business development and manage integrated marketing programs to reach sales and revenue goals of assigned departments.
Previously, Hayes has held senior level marketing positions at national financial institutions, including The March Group and Citigroup Geneva Capital Strategies, where she executed marketing campaigns, projects and programs that resulted in demonstrated revenue and profitability increases.

Voice of the Editor
Which isn’t completely true. I mean, occasionally I drop by when I manage to sneak out of the nonstop frat party over at Going Concern, but I’m mostly a wallflower over there. I’m happy to say that I’ve been given express permission (or explicit orders, if you like) to wander over here to AccountingWEB more often.
Why is that, you might ask? My job is to replace the irreplaceable Gail Perry as Editor-in-Chief. What does that mean? I don’t really know! I think it’ll be fun getting a feel for things, throwing in my own thoughts here and there, and listening to the discussions you’re having about the accounting profession.
