Brown Smith Wallace Hires Marketing Director

Brown Smith Wallace has hired Michael Bowlan as director of marketing. In this position, Bowlan will oversee all branding, creative development and marketing strategy for the St. Louis-based firm.

Bowlan has more than 30 years of marketing experience for prominent professional services firms with a special focus on business development, branding and marketing communications. He has moved to St. Louis from Pennsylvania where most recently he was the director of marketing and new business development for Accume Partners, a national provider of internal audit and related risk management services.

Bowlan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Lyon College in Arkansas. He received his master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. He recently moved to St. Charles.

Brown Smith Wallace is the second-largest locally owned independent full-service CPA and business consulting firm in Missouri with more than 170 employees throughout the Midwest.
