Boston area CPA elected to board of international accounting organization

William F. Rucci, Jr., CPA MST, a partner of the Boston area accounting and business advisory firm Rucci, Bardaro & Barrett, has been elected to the board of directors of Russell Bedford International, a global network of independent accounting, business and legal consulting firms with affiliates in over 70 countries.

Rucci will represent North America on the 9-member board and will serve for a three-year term. He continues to serve as chairman of the network's Family Business Consulting Group and as co-director of the Russell Bedford North American Tax Services Group.

"I am deeply honored to have been elected by my peers to this important post," said Rucci. "Today, the complexities of doing business on a global scale require resources that can assist enterprises at the international level. I look forward to working with the Russell Bedford board and our member firms as we continue to promote the network's understanding of the big picture - as well as its vast force of professionals with local knowledge - to growing businesses everywhere."

Russell Bedford International is one of the largest accounting, auditing and consulting networks in the world, with over 460 member firms spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. The network gives its members access to a worldwide pool of local knowledge on tax law, legislation, and markets in order to assist clients who conduct business in more than one country or region.
