Beers and Cutler partner Jere Shawver appointed to William & Mary's Mason School of Business Accounting programs board

Beers + Cutler, the leading accounting and consulting firm focused on the Washington, DC region, is pleased to announce that partner Jere Shawver has been appointed to The College of William & Mary's Mason Accounting Programs Board. The Board's mission is to support the Accounting Programs with the knowledge, influence and financial resources vital to accomplishing the very ambitious goals set forth by the Board and Staff.

Jere Shawver leads Beers + Cutler's audit and assurance practice and its services to Higher Education institutions. He is responsible for identifying and establishing policies for executing audit and assurance engagements, monitoring compliance with appropriate standards and evaluating the impact of legislation on the firm's clients. He advises companies and organizations on financial reporting, accounting, internal controls and business matters and works closely with clients in evaluating and structuring transactions to comply with financial reporting requirements.

The mission of The Mason School of Business at The College of William and Mary is to serve the Commonwealth, the nation and the global community both by offering high-quality educational programs at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels.
