Beard Miller Company names Scott Kimmel director of business development

Beard Miller Company LLP (BMC), a leading Mid Atlantic certified public accounting firm, is pleased to announce that Scott Kimmel has recently joined the firm as Director of Business Development.

A resident of Lancaster, Kimmel previously served as a Sales, Marketing and Business Development Executive at Ernst & Young where he was the Business Development Leader for the firm's Mid Atlantic Tax Practice and key strategic business initiatives.

Kimmel will be actively involved in new business generation for BMC. In his role, Kimmel will leverage his understanding of BMC's services and capabilities to determine and identify appropriate target markets and initiate and develop long-lasting relationships with contacts. This background will be essential as he directs opportunity management, referral source development, lead generation, and prospect meeting facilitation at BMC.

"We are delighted that a highly skilled, motivated business development executive like Mr. Kimmel is joining the bmc team," said Lamar Stoltzfus, chairman and chief executive officer, BMC. "As we continue to move our vision forward, Scott's professional expertise is expected to drive significant revenue growth for the firm."

Kimmel earned a BBA degree in finance/management/real estate from Kent State University and a MBA degree in international marketing from Saint Joseph's University. He earned an Advanced Professional Certificate in Information Technology/e-Commerce from New York University.
