Beard Miller Company names Duane E. Moyer leader of small business industry group

Beard Miller Company LLP (BMC), a leading Mid Atlantic certified public accounting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of firm partner Duane E. Moyer as Leader of the Small Business Industry Group effective immediately. Moyer is based in the firm's York office.

The Small Business Industry Group oversees the firm's services to small business clients, the structure of the small business client teams, and the continuing professional education for employees related to small businesses. Additionally, the Group shares best practices in servicing small business clients and works to actively pursue new small business opportunities.

Moyer previously chaired the firm's Small Business Model committee and was a member of the Small Business Management Group. He is a partner in BMC's Audit and Accounting Services group, and also serves on the Small Business Process Improvement Planning Tax Training Committee.

Moyer has over 18 years of experience in the public accounting industry and has a comprehensive background in accounting, auditing, and tax matters of historical financial information. Moyer earned a BS degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Shippensburg University.
