BDO Seidman Join's PeopleSoft's Alliance Program

One of the nation's second-tier accounting and consulting firms, BDO Seidman, has joined PeopleSoft's Alliance Program to provide services for the vendor's manufacturing software suite.

The joint effort helps PeopleSoft increase its solutions in several business areas, including financial and supply chain management, by building on BDO Seidman's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and supply-chain business knowledge. In addition, based on BDO Seidman's foray in end-to-end e-commerce with a host of back office solutions, PeopleSoft also will gain a higher profile in its own e-business endeavors.

Ron Marinella, BDO Seidman's executive director of Business and Technology Solutions, believes the new collaboration marries the two company's backgrounds to provide a solid, technical mix for the end user. The firm continues to publish its annual Guide to Manufacturing and Distribution Software, a document Marinella says has become an industry tool since its inception.
