Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility.  This is national award program that recognizes companies for superior workplace programs.

Magazine has ranked Barfield Murphy Shank & Smith on its 2009 list of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the country.  The Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2005 through 2008.  To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent.  Barfield Murphy Shank & Smith is the only CPA firm in Alabama to make the list.
