AccountingWEB Meets AAA

Members of AccountingWEB met with representatives from the Indiana Chapter of the Association of Accounting Administrators today in an attempt to share goals and explain what the two groups have to offer each other.

AAA members were treated to a tour of the AccountingWEB web site, and had an opportunity to quiz Michael Platt, AccountingWEB CEO, Kelly McRae, AccountingWEB Business Development Specialist, and Gail Perry, AccountingWEB Managing Editor on the offerings of the site. Meanwhile, the AccountingWEB crew entertained suggestions for how the site can best serve the members of the accounting profession.

In particular one option we explored was in the area of interactive business communications. AAA members are formulating a plan to use the AccountingWEB workshop room as a meeting place when geographic constraints limit the opportunity to meet in person.

We encourage all members of AAA and others to comment on how they perceive the AccountingWEB site and how we can provide the most useful and easily accessible online resources for accountants. Click on the Add Comments option below to express your views.
