FCG Holds University for BV & IP Engagements

The Financial Consulting Group held its FCG University, Sept. 9-10 in Dallas, to provide targeted CPE to its members in the area of intellectual property and related services.

'FCGU is a terrific program for our members because it delivers a hands-on, team approach to solving complicated IP issues for their client base,' says Larry R. Cook, CPA/ABV, CBA, president of FCG and his own firm in Houston. 'When attendees leave this program and return to their firms, they will take with them a skill-set that provides added-value to typical CPE they receive from other sources.'

FCG is an organization of valuation professionals working within the accounting profession. Many of the most recognized names in the valuation industry are affiliated with FCG member firms, and many members also retain the ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) designation from AICPA.

Many FCG members are on the roster to speak at the upcoming AICPA Business Valuation Conference, Nov. 12-14, in Miami. FCG also will have a booth at the exhibitor show.
