Indiana CPA Society Student Site Wins Award

The Student section of the Indiana CPA Society's (INCPAS) Web site has been awarded first place for excellence in public relations programming by the Public Relations Society of America's (PRSA) East Central District.

The site, which is part of the INCPAS ongoing student initiatives program, was commended for its research, planning, execution, and results. The judges noted the wealth of information presented on the site in these categories:

  • Careers
  • CPA exam
  • Job searching
  • Average Salaries
  • CPA Licensing

The award will be presented next week at the 2001 PRSA International Conference in Atlanta. The competition attracted 98 entries from public relations firms and corporate communications departments.

Membership in the East Central District of PRSA is open to any public relations practitioner or firm whose place of business is in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania, or West Virginia.
