A can't-miss event for accounting professionals from Intuit… and it's free!

In these tough economic times, we’re all searching for greater value and ways to make more money.  On December 9th, Intuit is providing an opportunity for accounting professionals that is one of those rare moments when you can disregard the old adage, “you get what you pay for” ... because this opportunity is free.

Rich Walker, CPA in charge of accountant communication and media relations for Intuit says that, each year, Intuit offers a series of seminars on What’s New in QuickBooks and Lacerte in a number of cities across the U.S. This year, to accommodate those accounting and tax professionals who were not able to attend a face-to-face seminar, Intuit is offering a virtual conference with live Webinars and self-paced training. The goal is to help practitioners learn how to increase their productivity using QuickBooks and Lacerte, while earning CPE at no charge.

What can accountants expect from this Webinar?

Dan Lowell, senior manager of learning and development for Intuit’s Accounting Professionals Division (APD) described it this way: “The 2010 What’s New from Intuit ProLine Virtual Seminar is a dynamic, online learning event.  This year it features live, streaming video training courses, Q and A, and networking.  The virtual platform creates an engaging and interactive experience, and provides accounting professionals an opportunity to experience deeper conversations with Intuit product experts, Intuit trainers, and other accounting pros.  The event is designed to help accountants increase their productivity and grow their practices, all without leaving their offices.”

Stephanie Morris, APD online training and event manager, added… “It's green - no driving or flying. It's lean - no fees since it's free. And, it's keen to learn about all the new cool stuff in QuickBooks and Lacerte.”
