Beta Alpha Psi kicks off regional competitions for accounting students

 

Beta Alpha Psi is gearing up for their 2010 Regional Meetings.  Each year the regional meetings attract over 1,400 students who participate in operational sessions and attend professional sessions moderated by BAP Advisory Forum members who include: KPMG, AICPA, RSM McGladrey, Ernst & Young, Chevron, Becker Professional Review, IRS, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, state CPA societies, and many more.
 
This year, students will be contending in “Best Practices” competitions sponsored by Deloitte. This year’s topics include:
 
  • Service Learning: Learning by Using Your Skills to Help a Local Organization
  • Ethics and Integrity in Business: Identify and/or Promote EthicalBusiness Practices
  • Chapter Sustainability: The Future Success of Your Chapter.
