Philadelphia accounting, tax, and business consulting firm, Citrin Cooperman, has been recognized by Philadelphia SmartCEO magazine as a 2012 Future 50 Award recipient. Led by the Philadelphia office managing partner Mark S. Carrow, CPA, MST, Citrin Cooperman was honored at the magazine's awards ceremony in January 2012.

Citrin Cooperman's inclusion in the 2012 Philadelphia SmartCEO Future 50 Award list and recognition as one of the region's fifty fastest growing companies is based on the combined growth rates of revenues and employees over a three-year period. Companies that received the award collectively generate $10 billion in revenue and employ more than 55,000 individuals.

According to Philadelphia SmartCEO magazine's January issue, "Over the past three years – through the heart of the recession – these companies have increased their revenue by 62 percent and expanded employee rosters by 67 percent."

Upon receiving the award, Carrow said, "We are so pleased to be named to the Philadelphia SmartCEO Future 50 list for the second consecutive year, and we congratulate the other winners with whom we share this accolade. Our firm has consistently grown each year since its inception – a direct result of our team's hard work and focused efforts on behalf of our clients."

Founded in 1979 by Philadelphia native Joel Cooperman and his colleague Niles Citrin, Citrin Cooperman and its 100 partners and 458 total employees provide business advisory services to business owners and entrepreneurs. In the last twelve years, Citrin Cooperman, which has five offices in four states, has grown from $18 million to more than $105 million in annual revenue.
