Intuit Aims to Solve Accountants’ Most Critical Needs

Intuit® is increasing its commitment to accountants by rolling out a series of new and enhanced programs including free technical support for QuickBooks ProAdvisors®, a new accountant-dedicated support team and free training seminars in 80 cities across the nation. “We want to send a clear message that no one is more committed that Intuit to understanding the needs of accountants and giving them the resources and support they need to be successful,” Jill Ward, vice president of accountant programs for Intuit said in a statement announcing the new and enhanced program.

By expanding to 80 the number of cities nationwide hosting training sessions, Intuit has doubled its investment in providing free, in-person QuickBooks training on accountant specific topics. Intuit will also continue offering long-standing in-person training for Lacerte® and ProSeries® tax preparation products. In addition to in-person training, state accounting associations and even local chapters will have access to in-person presentations on topics ranging from using QuickBooks to building an accounting practice. To make it easier for the 3 million QuickBook customers to connect with the nationwide network of Certified ProAdvisors, Intuit offer prominent messaging on QuickBooks.com. The QuickBooks Online Community directly links QuickBooks prospects and customers to the Certified ProAdvisor online referral service for QuickBooks help, support, training and more. QuickBooks users are also encouraged to connect with Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor via direct links within the QuickBooks product itself through welcome emails, or when looking for help or support.

The new QuickBooks Retail Solution Provider Program for QuickBooks ProAdvisors specializing in supporting retailers helps accountants harness business opportunities in that fast-growing industry. QuickBooks ProAdvisors who commit to sales and customer support goals, such as providing on-site implementation and training, receive special discounts on upgrades, hardware and QuickBooks Point of Sale software.
