AICPA to Host IISBP Teleconferences

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has announced plans to host two live teleconferences during which participants will be able to listen to an explanation of the new proposed global business credential, Strategic Business Professional (IISBP). The teleconferences are geared toward members of the business and industry community who may not have a thorough understanding of how the IISBP will benefit them.

The teleconferences will feature Judy Trepeck, CEO of the AICPA's Global Credential Steering Committee as well as members of the AICPA's Business & Industry Executive Committee.

Teleconference participants will be able to participate in a question and answer session following a prepared presentation.

The teleconferences are scheduled for Wednesday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m. EST and Tuesday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. EST. Participants should call (800)680-9685 and use pass code iisbp to dial in. There is no pre-registration requirement.

The future of the IISBP is to be determined by a vote of all AICPA members. You can download a ballot if you have not received one in the mail, and you can read more about the proposed credential at AccountingWEB's Global Credential Resource Center.
