1. Does anyone have any idea how a company might account for junk bond restructuring using a leveraged buy out?

2. Accounting for Gift Certificates. Our revenues, by category, do not take into account any GC's applied. I am thinking, or remembering...that Gift certificates are strictly a balance sheet transaction (Deferred income- asset side, GC payable-liability side). Can someone help?
