Here is a sample of the questions that have been posted this week. Check out all the questions below at our Q&A Forum and see if you can lend a hand.
1. A member would like to know if they should spend the money to have their CPA Exam grades reviewed by the AICPA and would also like to know if there is there a chance to have the appeal go in their favor? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
2. Our 2001 bonus was accrued at year-end but paid in 2002. Should our 2001 pension, which is calculated on PAID wages, include an accrual for 2001 bonus? If so is this a timing difference for deferred taxes?
3. Is there a Schedule A deduction that a part-time firefighter can take for the time that he/she is on duty and away from their regular job?
