While retailers expect sales of desktop PCs to once again surge during the holiday season, more and more consumers will be looking at notebook computers, instead, as a more-than-viable option to the desktop unit.
After all, notebooks have come down in price over the last several years, and their portability cannot be matched by a desktop unit. They have all the bells and whistles associated with larger units, and are tight and compact in size and weight.
