This spring, certain H&R Block tax customers will receive an opportunity to save money on monthly dial-up Internet service offered by the MSN network.
The traditional $21.95/month fee charged by MSN is the same price offered to anyone else, but because of the new arrangement, Block customers who are part of this promotion will receive a special CD entitling them to a $300 rebate on MSN dial-up services if they commit to a three-year contract.
The rebate is part of a new partnership between the two companies in an effort to cross-sell each other's products.
One- and two-year contracts with a $75 and $150 rebate, respectively, also are being offered.
No other details of the partnership were disclosed.
