Editor's Note:
Congress AMT Update: Congressional Democrats no doubt held their noses while voting to
patch the encroaching Alternative Minimum Tax for one more year with no offsetting tax raise to pay the government for the revenue it will lose by allowing taxpayers another year of rolled back AMT rates. President Bush has indicated he will sign the legislation. This might not signal Peace on Earth, but at least it's a big gesture of Good Will To Men (and Women). Thanks, Congress, for rising to the occasion. Now go home and have some figgy pudding.
