The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) recently announced that the NJSCPA page on Facebook has surpassed 2,000 fans. The society celebrated by awarding CPAs Do It on the 15th t-shirts to 20 fans and NJSCPA members.
Additionally, the society’s Twitter page has drawn nearly 1,000 followers, and the LinkedIn page boasts more than 1,100 members. The NJSCPA’s two blogs, CPA Exam Cram and Observation Post, have attracted nearly 80,000 and 20,000 page views, respectively.
“Operating with three goals in mind – driving member retention through a greater level of engagement for current members; creating networking and learning opportunities for current members; supporting existing membership acquisition programs – the NJSCPA has used the power of blogs and social networking to reach potential, new, and long-time society members, as well as CPA exam candidates across the country,” said Don Meyer, the society’s director of communications and marketing.
