Darnall, Sikes, Gardes & Frederick Expands Wealth Management Services

DS&F Financial Services LLC, an affiliate of Darnall, Sikes, Gardes and Frederick, a CPA firm with headquarters in Lafayette, Louisiana, will merge with Wealth Care Group Asset Management LLC, the Daily Advertiser reports. The new company will be called DSF Wealth Management LLC.Larry Sikes, president and managing director of Darnall, Sikes, Gardes & Frederick, will be CEO of the merged financial services company.

Rothstein Kass – Certified Public Accountants, a top 25 ranked international accounting and consulting firm, has acquired the assets of San Francisco-based Stadtler, Rosenblum & Saris (SRS), a medium-sized accounting and consulting firm. Effective July 1, SRS’ clients are being serviced by Rothstein Kass & Company, LLP.“We diligently searched for the ideal accounting firm to join and Rothstein Kass provides the best opportunities for us to substantially broaden our service offerings,” Sander Stadtler, SRS Managing Principal, explained in a prepared statement.

BKD Acquires Firms in Oklahoma and Ohio; KPMG to Close Office in Wichita

BKD LLP, the 12th largest accounting firm in the U.S., with total revenue of $258 million, according to Accounting Today, announced Wednesday that it had acquired Lisle Compton Cole & Almen LLP in Oklahoma City and Gaither Rutherford & Co. LLP in Evansville, Ohio. The two acquisitions will bring $10 million in additional revenue to the firm. Earlier this month, BKD acquired Grant Thornton LLP’s Colorado Springs Office, the Wichita Business Journal reported.

The BDO International network, the world's fifth largest accounting and consulting organization, this week announced the addition of two China based firms to the BDO International network. The BDO network now has five member firms in China. The new member firms, BDO Shenzhen Dahua Tiancheng, based in Shenzen and Guangzhou, and BDO Wuhan ZhongHuan, based in Wuhan, will augment BDO's existing China presence in Shanghai (BDO Shanghai Zhonghua), Beijing (BDO Reanda) and Hong Kong SAR (BDO McCabe Lo).
