The IRS announced it is providing tax relief to individual and business taxpayers in four Colorado counties impacted by the recent severe storms that have caused flooding, landslides, and mudslides in that state.

A team of thirty-six employees from BKD LLP volunteered last week to clean up residences in Moore, Oklahoma, that were destroyed by an EF-5 tornado May 20. The OSCPA is also mobilizing efforts with members and community leaders to help tornado victims.
Following Monday's disaster declaration for individual assistance issued by FEMA, the IRS announced May 21, 2013, that affected taxpayers in Cleveland, Lincoln, McClain, Oklahoma, and Pottawatomie counties will receive special tax relief.
