Editor's Note
Software as a Service is a phrase everyone is talking about these days. In this special issue of AccountingWEB's In the Zone e-newsletter, we take a look at how Software as a Service is being made available to CPAs through the AICPA, we look at some of the costs of implementing certain services, and we consider the future of Cloud Computing. I personally find it amusing that we refer to utilizing Software as a Service as Cloud Computing as if the service is taking place somewhere above us, when actually most computer servers are located on or even under the ground. But that's neither here nor there.

Best regards,
Gail Perry, CPA
Managing Editor
