Today's office exercises will help alleviate the muscle tension in the neck, shoulders, and back that comes from sitting for many long hours at a desk. Each of these exercises is done while you are seated at your desk.

Neck exercises for weary accountants
We've got a warm-up exercise and then two stretches for the neck.  
  1. Tilt your head toward the right, bending your right ear toward your right shoulder.
  2. Hold for 5-10 seconds.
  3. Lower your chin so that it is points toward your chest and you are looking down toward your legs.
  4. Hold for 5-10 seconds.
  5. Now tilt your head so the left ear is leaning toward the left shoulder.
  6. Hold for 5-10 seconds.
