It's thigh day here at the office fitness factory. I'm probably really dating myself, but whenever I think of thighs, I say a silent thank you to my childhood doctor who very kindly gave me my smallpox vaccine on my thigh instead of my arm, telling me that the grown-up Gail would thank him some day. He was right!  I've got two thigh exercises for you today. Enjoy!

Thigh exercises
Today's exercises work the thighs, those parts of the legs that you sit on, all day long. You can actually do these exercises and keep working at the same time. Multitasking at its best!

Knee squeeze
  1. Sit up straight in your chair, with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Place a water bottle, handbag, sweater, book, or some other object you've got hanging around the office, between your knees.
  3. Tighten your abdominal muscles.
  4. Squeeze the bottle or other object with your thighs.
