State of Same-Sex Accounting

Are you an accountant with experience in handling the myriad tax issues involved in same-sex marriages? With New York State recently passing the Marriage Equality Act, I've been hearing that there's quite a lot to sort out in terms of estate taxes, income taxes and more for newly-married same-sex couples. Of course, I'm guessing the rules vary from New York to Vermont to Iowa, and the other states with legalized same-sex marriage.
Most times when new legislation takes hold, it's more work for the public accounting profession. Gotta love politics!
