BLS kicked off this milestone celebration on April 15 by holding an early-morning tailgating party at corporate headquarters in the Delle Donne Corporate Center. Crozier, managing director.

Assigned volunteer planners will assist in defining financial goals, creating budgets, establishing savings plans, and ensuring that those participating in this no-cost program receive full advantage of the established funds and benefits available.
The FPA of MA already provides pro bono financial planning services for military personnel and their families through the MA National Guard and for cancer patients and their families through a program with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
FPA of MA has also recently created another pro bono program for those who have served, this one for military veterans that have been chosen by Homes for Our Troops (HFOT), a nonprofit organization that builds homes for wounded veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The program was so successful in Massachusetts that they have spread the volunteer model to other states.

Mary Jo Werner

, has earned the Public Service Award from the Wisconsin Association of Homicide Investigators (WAHI) for her contributions to the murder trial of Eric Koula. Werner testified as an expert witness on Koula's financial status, which was one of the keys to the prosecution establishing the defendant's motive.
With more than twenty-five years of experience, Werner leads Wipfli's tax practice in the La Crosse office and works with hundreds of clients by providing litigation support, fraud and forensic investigations and tax services. In addition to her work for Wipfli, Werner has served three years on the IRS Taxpayer Advocacy Panel, and she is an active member of the AICPA, where she serves as a liaison between the AICPA and the US Congress. A magna cum laude graduate of Loras College, Werner holds a bachelor's degree in accounting, political science, and business administration. In addition, she earned her juris doctorate degree from Creighton University where she was a member of the Law Review.
