Flex Spending Limitations Stem from Obamacare

While we wait for the U.S. Supreme Court to decide the fate of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (aka PPACA and known to many as Obamacare), the IRS provides guidance on contribution limits for flexible spending accounts.
Never mind that the new limitation rules are included in the PPACA, which could mean that the new rules are in jeopardy. The general sentiment is that rules and provisions stemming from the PPACA that have already been enacted will likely remain in place should the PPACA get shot down, so maybe that's why the IRS decided not to take any chances and to go ahead and institute these new rules now. Anyway, all will be revealed soon – PPACA news is expected tomorrow.
