CPE Link ‒ a provider of online continuing professional education (CPE) for CPAs, EAs, RTRPs, CMAs, CFPs, and other financial professionals ‒ will be exhibiting at this year's National Practice Management Conference to be held June 19-22 in Las Vegas. This annual event, hosted by the Association for Accounting Administration (AAA), draws CPA firm administrators who are often the ones charged with the daunting task of monitoring their firm's CPE compliance. CPE Link plans to demonstrate its new Compliance Manager product at the show.
"We keep hearing that firm administrators have reached their limits when it comes to monitoring CPE compliance," says CPE Link Executive Director Sue Anderson. "Spreadsheets just don't cut it anymore. There are too many changes in the requirements to keep track of and too many professionals in their firm to keep up with everything."
Providing automated tracking of compliance periods and all requirements, CPE Link's web-based Compliance Manager tool helps firms monitor the compliance status of all professional staff easily. Compliance Manager tracks all credit categories applicable to CPAs in all states as well as enrolled agents, registered tax return preparers, certified management accountants, and certified financial planners.
Compliance Manager monitors limits on select delivery formats and subject areas, and e-mails reminders on CPE compliance status (and even gives course suggestions to fulfill credit deficiencies). It also allows for the addition of CPE records from other providers and uploading and storage of certificates. Users can generate an export of CPE records for each reporting period.
Attending the AAA conference will give CPE Link the opportunity to talk with firm administrators and better understand the challenges they face and how Compliance Manager can help.
