We want to thank Breakpal.com [1] for this stretchy exercise that gives your legs a workout without your having to even get out of your chair.
Step 1: Sit up straight at the edge of your chair. Place your hands next to your hips on the edge of the chair, knees bent, feet flat on the floor.
Step 2: Inhale deeply, then exhale, tightening your abs.
Step 3: Straighten your right leg so that that the heel is on the floor and the toes are pointing up.
Step 4: Keeping your back straight, lean forward, pointing your chin at your right knee, until you feel a stretch in the back of your leg.
Step 5: Slowly return to the original position while inhaling.
Step 6: Exhale, then point the toes of the right foot forward, away from your body. Repeat the exercise with your foot in this position.
Step 7: Repeat the exercise, continuing with the right leg. Then repeat the entire exercise with the left leg.
Step 8: Sit back halfway in your chair, keep your back straight. Bend your right leg and cross your leg by placing your right ankle on your left knee.
Step 9: Gently press down on your right knee with your right hand while pulling up on your right foot with your left hand. Feel the stretch.
Step 10: Repeat, crossing your left leg onto your right knee.
Now get back to work!
