It's that time of year again for putting together your holiday wish list. Here is my list of big ticket items, and some stocking stuffers, too.
MacBook Air 11’’ – This doesn’t really fall into the gadget category, but it has a great price tag and I have heard wonderful things about it. Do yourself a favor and put your hands on this computer. You might have to leave with one.
Canon Powershot SD780 – I haven’t upgraded my camera in a while. I’d like to hold out for a digital SLR when kids come into the picture, but if I were getting a new point-and-shoot, this one looks pretty nice. The Canon Powershot SD780 IS is an ultra-compact digital camera with a high-definition movie mode capable of taking clips in 1280 x 720 HD resolution.
NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner – I actually just won this from a blog. I haven’t gotten my hands on it yet, but I have wanted one for a long time. My wife still remembers me pointing them out in the airport on our honeymoon.
Kindle 3rd Gen – I have a second generation Kindle, but who wouldn’t want a trade-up for the latest and greatest. This thing is smaller, with better screen contrast, and faster processing. You also can get a Wi-Fi only model, for less money.
Fitbit – The Fitbit accurately tracks your calories burned, steps taken, distance traveled, and sleep quality. The Fitbit contains a 3D motion sensor like the one found in the Nintendo Wii. The Fitbit tracks your motion in three dimensions and converts this into useful information about your daily activities.
Vibram Five Fingers – You may have heard of them, but you have almost definitely seen them. While they're not a piece of technology, they could still change your life like technology has. Go try on a pair!
