Is "Horizontal" Accounting Software Dead?

I was forwarded a copy of a blog post by Business Accounting Software [1] blogger Austin Merritt called Is "Horizontal" Accounting Software Dead? [2] and thought I'd share it here.  The author makes some very good observations which line up pretty accurately to what I'm seeing in our practice.  Worth a read.
