Guru.com Provides Services and Support for Business Consultants
Site creators Jon and James Slavet refer to independent professionals as gurus, and plan to provide everything from vendors for health insurance and bill collection, to expert advice. But the site's biggest draw may be the new job-matching service.
Later this month, Guru.com will introduce a new job-matching service designed to link freelancers and clients. The service will initially be free to both freelancer and client. Gurus can currently register with the clearinghouse at Guru.com, and are reportedly signing up at a rate of 2,000 per week. This service will remain free to gurus, but will most likely involve a future subscription or "per use" fee to access the database.
Guru.com is designed for a broad range of business consultants in the areas of financial services, technology, sales and marketing and creative services.
