Registration open for FBLA Virtual Business Challenge
The FBLA Virtual Business Challenge (VBC) is an official Future Busines Leaders of America (FBLA) competitive event sponsored by Knowledge Matters and FBLA. FBLA members use highly visual simulation software to manage a distribution center. Participants utilize a competition version of the Virtual Business – Management 2.0 software simulation to participate in this competition. All of the qualifying rounds for this event take place via the Internet on the Knowledge Matters, Inc. Web site. Teams that qualify will then compete for scholarship money at the National Leadership Conference.
In order to participate in the VBC, FBLA members must first register for a team. Teams may consist of 1-3 members. There is no limit on the amount of teams that may register from one chapter.
Teams may register throughout the entire length of the qualifying rounds (October 15 - March 7). Once you register for a team, you will receive a team code. The same team code may be used for both the first and the second qualifying round; you should not register for a new team for each round.
Students interested in registering should sign up before February 11, 2008 to participate in the current round of this interactive technology competition.
The first round was held November 5–29, 2007 and the second challenge will be held from February 11 through March 7, 2008.
