J.H. Cohn Appoints CIO
“Robert’s appointment solidifies our commitment to leveraging technology to the fullest so we can best serve our clients, and build upon our solid technology infrastructure to support our professionals and staff,” said Kenneth J. Kanter, partner and chair of J.H. Cohn’s Technology and Operations Steering Committee.
In his new role, Robert oversees technology and information systems across the firm’s seven offices in the United States and abroad. With prior roles as a CIO at professional services firms, he has managed all technology activities and supervised systems development and implementation for both corporate and financial systems. He also has experience directing projects that resulted in system reliability and profitability opportunities, aligning business and IT objectives and formalizing quality assurance testing.
Most recently, Robert served as chief operating and information officer for an importer and wholesale distributor and supervised the entire fulfillment center/warehousing activities for the company as well as the organization’s technology activities. In addition to his professional experience, he has also been a Computer Science adjunct professor at Long Island University. He holds a master’s of science degree in operations research from Columbia University and bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and Hebraic studies from Yeshiva University. Robert is also a member of The CIO Collective, a not-for-profit association of senior IT executives.
