E&Y Named Outstanding Training Organization Third Straight Year
"We are delighted to be recognized by Training Magazine as one of the top companies on the Training 100 list for a third straight year," said Harold Miller, Americas Chief Learning Officer, Ernst & Young. "Ernst & Young champions a 'People First' culture, and recognizes that learning is key to increase the effectiveness of our people, leading to improved service and quality for our clients and growth for the firm. Ernst & Young clearly established itself again as a global learning leader."
Over the past year, the global Ernst & Young network significantly broadened its focus on learning, approving a Global Learning Strategy and selecting a diverse team, including its affiliate Intellinex LLC, a provider of end-to-end learning solutions, to implement its strategy.
"We have a long and rich heritage of learning at Ernst & Young and we're committed to expanding our success on a global basis," said Ray McGowen, Global Chief Learning Officer. "Being named to the Training 100 list again in 2004 serves as proof that our strategy is working. Partnering with a learning leader like Intellinex has enhanced our firm's ability to stay on the cutting edge, providing innovative learning services and technology to address the complex educational needs of our people."
In addition to the Top 10 ranking, Ernst & Young was acknowledged in two special categories. "Daring to be Different" recognized Ernst & Young for its extensive commitment to diversity programs and initiatives across the firm. A second reference, "And the Survey Says," applauded Ernst & Young's innovative use of internal surveys for self-assessment and evaluation of individual and team performance and effectiveness.
"We congratulate Ernst & Young and the other organizations that have been recognized as global training leaders," said Roy Brown, president and CEO, Intellinex. "Ernst & Young truly understands that effectively managing enterprise performance through learning is the key to competing in today's global markets. To be named among the very best of world-class training companies for the third year in a row is an honor. We are pleased to have been a significant contributor to this success."
