CFO Magazine Accepting Nominations for 'Excellence Awards'
Completed applications for one or more of ten new categories, each designed to reflect the diverse nature of finance today, are due on April 30, 2001. To nominate a CFO, simply complete the nomination form  online at CFO's web site. There is no charge to enter, and a distinguished panel of experts, including CEOs, will review each entry. Julia Homer, editor-in-chief of CFO magazine, will chair the panel.

"They meet the challenge of bringing value to stakeholders in the new economy, often against long odds, with creativity, determination, and skill. Their invaluable contribution to America's collective managerial acumen deserves our highest praise and consideration."

- Capital Structure Management
- Deal-Making and Integration
- Turnaround Management
- Information Management/Business Decision Support
- Planning and Performance Management
- Managing External Stakeholders
- Risk Management
- Finance Leadership, Development and Training
All information submitted as part of the CFO Excellence Awards process will be kept confidential. However, should a nominee win, he/she will be interviewed by CFO magazine, and any public information submitted as a part of the application may appear as part of an article in the October 2001 issue.
