Taxware Launches Enterprise Consulting Group to Offer Tax Automation

Taxware LP, a leading provider of global tax calculation and compliance solutions, and subsidiary of First Data Corp. (NYSE: FDC), today announced the formation of its Enterprise Solutions Group. Under the direction of Robert Fountain, previously senior manager, Deloitte & Touche National Tax Management Advisory Services, Taxware’s Enterprise Solutions Group is charged with providing world-class adapters for Taxware Enterprise, the company’s global tax engine and flagship product, to the market’s leading enterprise systems, including Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP and J.D. Edwards.

Under Fountain’s leadership, the Enterprise Solutions Group will provide a full range of consulting services to support the Taxware suite of products, facilitating the seamless integration of Taxware solutions with corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Resource Management (CRM) and enterprise finance systems, including billing.

Fountain, who also has consulted independently on issues of tax automation, will serve as Taxware vice president of enterprise solutions. Raymond Remy, previously senior principal consultant at Oracle Consulting, will join Fountain as director of enterprise solutions, as will senior manager of Enterprise Solutions Camilo Paredes, also joining Taxware from Oracle Consulting.
